ICEM CFD (Hexa) - > Phoenics

Hi

Please could someone tell me how to output a hexa body fitted grid to Phoenics. I keep getting error messages every time i try! Like:

Running ICEM CFD/CAE PHOENICS translator Vers. 4.2.0

error opening file ./ child process exited abnormally

(procedure "Button::_release" line 18)

invoked from within "Button::_release .iconZone.tabbed.node3.fnode545.f0.node546.b3"

(command bound to event)

Do i need to specify boundary condition values etc. I'm used to using CFX, which is pretty simple to output. Phoenics seems more complicated.

James, These error messages are coming from the ICEM translator, I think that your best bet is to contact ICEM support, this is their field.

Subsequently, when you get the files if you have trouble reading them into PHOENICS, then you should contact CHAM support.
