output every step result

my question is how to set in phoenics ,which can output results to solution files at every time step

Linda,

Add the following settings in your q1:

csg1 = S (to dump the output files as S1, S2, etc.)

idispa = 1 (the frequency of dumping, 1 sweep in your case)

idispb = 1 (the first sweep for dumping)

idispc = lsweep-idispa (the last sweep for dumping)

You can then load these files in photon and autoplot exactly as you do with the 'phi' file.

You may do what you want via VREditor (in case your PHOENICS version is 3.4 or higher).

Go to menu/output/field dumping push "page down"; in the line before the last you can choose how often you want to dump the results.

I can send you more information case you need.
