how to learn phoenics

I'm a new user of phoenics, can anybody tell me how to be familiar with the software as soon as possible? If you ever did any simulation by phoenics, please send the model to me. Best regards!

Re: how to learn phoenics

1/ Get your college to send you on a training course.

2/ Remeber all sources and bounary conditions are expressed in the form coeff*T(Val-Phi). Read the lectures on PHOENICS within POLIS to try and understand this.

3/ Print off hard copies of the tutorials which are listed in POLIS and replicate them.

Re: how to learn phoenics

1. Be systematic in your approach in using the on-line tutorials (look in POLIS).

i.e. There are some tutorials to 'get-you-going' as well as others clustered to demonstrate particular features of the PHOENICS code.

2. Make sure also that you 'stand back' from all the 'button clicking' so that you can establish what each tutorial is trying to teach you.

I'm really new to Phoenics and my university has taught me basics of Phoenics....
I would be grateful if anyone of you can lead me to learn basics of "Natural Ventilation" Simulation Strategy from some online source or resources......that would be great....

I don't have enough money to go to seminars or training sessions....:( So I'm my only best hope, with some helps from you guyz......

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi

I found this page interesting in Phoenics. It has a mini-tutorial on how to use Phoenicx CFD package.
