I really apologize my novice-question:
Can i inspect the temperature(surface and volume) of a solid object that is inside a hot flux (like steam)? is there an example about it? Thank's a lot. |

Yes Andrea,
There are plenty of conjugate heat transfer (CHT) problems in the library. CHT is what we call these types of cases whereby heat is spread through different materials. When setting up a case simply choose real materials, not 199 or 198 and solve velocity and temperature equations. Solve static temperature unless trhe flow field is transonic or more. To inspect the temperature wiythink the solid simply use the VRviewer. Surface contours can also be plotted by right-clicking on the object in question. |
