Dear all, i am a beginner in FLAIR. I hope you help me with some additional tutorials to improve my skills. I ask also how to create a return diffuser, is that by making an opening with vacuum pressure. Also, how to create a 3D building with staircase to make smoke managment system. Third, if i have typical 2D CAD plans, can i use it to establish the whole building.

Thank you. Regards, Hamdy

1.you can use opening type for pressure boundary condition. Or you can use inlet type for vol. flow rate 2.you can CAD set 3D staircase file . 3.PHOENICS can read 3D CAD files .

Hello thank you it is better to define suply and return diffusers as inlet type. the problem now that if i use the domain without walls, the results are very good but if i made it with walls of constant temperature, the results are unlogic. Really, i don not know the reason.

Thank You.

Maybe it is convergence problem . It is difficult to explain clearly . If you can send your Q1 and STL file to my email box . Maybe I can adjust it for you .
