I'm a fairly new user of Phoenix CFD and i'm trying to compare some car model windtunnel results to a cfd simulation. At the moment the domain size is quite large to represent the windtunel working section and alot of mesh and time is wasted in the uninteresting areas of the domain.
I'm more concerned with the flow around the car model itself and have heard of something called 'embedded mesh' whereby i can have essentailly a box around the model car with tighter packed mesh within it which is said to speed up computational time.
Does anyone know how to set this up in phoenix or where to find possible help or answers? Many thanks Dave
