Staggered or GCV?
Hi, I wish to simulate a 3D jet flow in a rectangular domain with the jet inlet being a portruding solid tube at the centre of the low face.
I have the above 2 options, each with their own problem.
Staggered >> correct flow field around the solid but the flow is not axisymmetrical. Instead, the flow is symmetrical along the x=y line.
GCV >> The flow field is incorrect at the solid boundary, but the flow is axisymmetrical.
Personally i prefer the staggered solver, but how can i get the expected symmetrical flow, as achieved by the GCV solver? Has anyone having the same problem?
