using embedded mesh in phoenics

I'm currently working on a cfd assignment and my group and I are looking into the utilization of embedded meshs. At the moment we're stumped as to where they are found in phoenics and how they are applied to the model. If anyone can point us in the right direction that would be great. The assignment is due in this week so a speedy repsonse would be helpful.

Re: using embedded mesh in phoenics

If you mean a local grid refinement, these can be done "continuously" by specifying grid points explicitly, or by using the built in refinements (power law or geom. progression)in MENU/Geometry. You can also create a FINE_GRID_VOLUME object, but this is discontinuous, that is, increases grid density by integer factors within the volume. Patti
