pressure correction for multiphase flow

Sorry, my first post was not written properly. I will improve the sentences :

In single-phase flow, Phoenics uses the continuty equation to correct the pressure and velocity obtained from momentum equation.

For multi-phase flow, it seems that Phoenics makes a different treatment. In one of Phoenics document, it writes that the phase continuity equation (for each phase) is used to compute the volume fraction of the corresponding phase.

The arising questions : 1. How does then Phoenics carry out the pressure correction if all continuity equations have been used for the computation of volume fraction ? 2. Where does Phoenics use the total fraction (e.g. for two-phases, r1 + r2 = 1).

Thank's in advance

Regards, Noel
