Hi, can anyone help me with ESCRS?
I have Phoenics 3.61 and upgrading to lastest soon by I still have a deadline so I need to simulate a reaction flow using ESCRS and I have so many questions.

1. Is ESCRS bound by cylindrical polar grid only, or free for all?
2. There is an example using ESCRS in the combution application named free turbulent diffusion flame - does anyone know the exact number of the case so I can take a look at the q1 file or can anyone share?

That's enough so far. I've tried to simulate some home made systems but always get the same error GXCHKI - too few variables for species - increase no of variables. I don't know how to get around this one so far.
If you have some advices anything can be helpful.

Thanks, George.

The ESCRS is valid for all coordinate systems.

Library Cases C301 to C309 provide examples of the ESCRS, many of which consider turbulent diffusion flames. For example, Case C302 simulates the methane diffusion flame of Owen, and Case C307 the well-known Kent-Bilger Hydrogen diffusion flame.

There's a *.ckm file in the phoenics library that presents the numerical methods in laminar flame propagation . Does anyone know what library case is that?

Thanks.
