STL shape and material properties

Hi guys,

I need some help. I am importing an STL geometry into a simulation and I want the object itself to prevent flow within itself - also i need no calculations within the object ( the shape is hollow on the inside). This is easily done with the cube shape. How do I apply it to my particular object?

Thanks.

Also as a second question if the object has holes ( a pipe with holes - STL import - fluid injected thru the pipe, is crammed thru the holes in the domain), how do I make the simulation to calculate thru those channels. I tried simple things, but again I am trapped by either material or shape.

Any help is appreciated,

Cheers,
George
