Help!! calculate gas density by ideal gas law
Hello everyone
I want to calculate density of single gas by ideal gas law. In the polic of phoenics, the density was calculated by formula RHO1B*(p1+PRESS0)/(t1+TEMP0), where RHO1B was seemed to be the only parameter that should be given. However, when I choose ideal gas option in the material menu, there were anorther parameter which was GAMMA also should be given. I was very puzzled about the meaning of GAMMA. Could anyone give me a hint? Thank you very much Ma He |
Hello Ma He,
itīs quite easy Gamma is the adiabatic index. Gamma = Cp/Cv where Cv is the specific heat at constant Volume and Cp is the specific heat at constant Pressure. Linh |
