i need help
 

everytime i install the phoenics software every thing is installed but after i click on it it doesnt open it just shows the program main window and closes quickly i tried to install in different systems in xp and windows 7 and same problem :confused:

Could you be more specific? What version are you trying to install? What window are you trying to open?

phoenics 3.5 and i tried in both windows 7 64 bit and xp sp3 32 bit and same problem in both the program opens and closes and never starts :(

Hi I am not sure this is the same issue I have had when I first installed Phoenics but I have solved it by following the troubleshooting written in the booklet (TR110 INSTALLATION OF INTEL PHOENICS -VERSION 2008) I have received with the program

I quote: When I run the sequential solver (EARTH) nothing happens on the screen and no error messages are displayed, and no result file is created.

Sequential EARTH requires a dummy library mpich.dll to be accessible. This library file is located in d_utils/d_windf and can be copied from there to your working folder.
Alternatively you can add the folder
" \phoenics\d_utils\d_windf " to your PATH
