IPSA model

when using IPSA, if I apply, heat source to a plate, it asks which phase should I apply the source to. However, the result is the same no matter which ever phase I apply the energy source.

Is it that PHOENICS defaults the energy source to the first phase? In such case, how to simulate superheated steam as well as boiling of water at the same time?
