constant heat flux boundary condition
I am analysing natural circulation loop (rectangular)
in cartesian coordinate system in PHOENICS. Heater is
located horizontally at the bottom . I have used
constant heat flux boundary condition for the heater and
for heat balance I have calculated heater power by using heater
intlet and outlet temperature at steady state.
But I found the calculated heater power is different
form the applied power (less by 26%) though the result is
showing steady state. How the number of cells applied in
the heater section affect this boundary
condition? kindly advice.
