Simple problem, what's the solution?

Problem statement:

1) According to PHOENICS ENCYCLOPEDIA, to define fluid and solid in the solution domain, PRPS is used. FIINIT(PRPS)=value for domain fluid and SOLID is defined by INITIAL PATCH like as follows:

PATCH(PATCH NAME,INIVAL,......)
INIT(PATCH NAME,PRPS,0.0, value for SOLIDS)

According to this, PRPS for fluid does not give required result as I set by FIINIT(PRPS)=value

2)But if I use two separate INITIAL PATCH of PRPS for both fluid and solid, it gives corrects result.

so, why don't I get correct result by step 1?

any suggestions....

Did you check the value of the "INIADD" boolean command? Is it set to "F" or to "T"?

It may help ....

yup, I checked. INIADD=F that means value of domain fluid region will not be added to solid region.

I also try with INIADD=T. In this case PRPS of SOLID adds the value of PRPS of DOMAIN FLUID. but PRPS for fluid becomes incorrect.... :(
