Hello, I am writing form Arizona. When I try to export the Analysis Data (for fluent) I have this message: Could not write Analysis BC file. This message appears only when I have a bloc created with the rotational extrusion. Do someone know how can I solve this problem? Thank You

Hi Alex. Based on your description, you have generated a structured (hex) grid via rotational extrusion. Therefore, some of the hex cells have fully collapsed faces and get converted to wedges. That's OK. But one cell topology that currently can't be handled is two adjacent faces of a hex that are both collapsed to triangles. For reference, see Section 17.8.19 of the Gridgen User Manual where topology issues for Fluent export are described and illustrated. (Furthermmore, I assume you're using the latest Gridgen version, 15.09R3, and you're trying to write files for Fluent, not Fluent v4.)

If you'd like to talk to someone about this, please contact our technical support engineers at support@pointwise.com or 888-GRIDGEN.

Hope this helps.
