Default Extruding a domain with an overlap

I have an inner block and outer block. JMAX of the inner block represents the nozzle wall and JMAX of the outer block represents the freestream. Figure 1.

I would like to extend the JMAX of outer block, meaning push out the freestream boundary. I have attempted this in a various ways without success.

1) extrude the circumferential overlapping domain (Figure 2), but this results in the points mismatch in the extruded block (Figure 3). I am not sure why this would happen since I am doing a normal extrusion. I am guessing this has to do with the fact that there is a circumferential overlap and the beginning and the end of the initial rotation are not moving along same normals.

2) used scale and stretch but both limits me to work in XYZ so I can either do Y or Z but if I do both Y and Z to get the result I want. Is there a way where I can just say increase the radius by certain amount and tell Pointwise that this a circular geometry?

I know this is trivial if I am doing half or quarter geometry but I need to run this case with full 360 and a five point circumferential overlap. Also, I know I can strip the grid down to two domains, extend the outer domain and perform a rotation extrusion to recreate the new grid. At which point, I can use a separate tool to create an overlap. However, I was wondering if I could do it quickly with one of the techniques above.

I would use the scale transform. Scale the outer domains (JMAX) by using a point on the rotation axis as the anchor and then enter the scale factors manually. Enter values >1 only for the (r,theta) plane Cartesian axes. For example, if your axis is X, enter 1 2 2 to double the radius.

Thanks a bunch Chris. I was using point placement option and didn't realize I could alternatively use scale factor. So that did it for me.
