Hi all
I'm new user of pointwise, and have a trouble in making block.

I want to make far field around a vehicle.

I made all connectors and domains successfully, and failed with block.

First is Create>Assemble special>Block
After that, I clicked All Masks On button, and select all things by pressing Ctrl+A
then Save Face, and OK.

Message said that Created 1 block, but the number of cells of block in Panel>List is zero.

What was wrong with this procedure?

btw, how can I attach a image file??
I want to help your understanding but I don't have a blog or something that is able to give url address

I believe that this is very simple problem to you

Thanks in advance!

Hi Sangwoo. As you discovered, Pointwise does not generate the interior cells of an unstructured volume grid automatically at the time of creation. It doesn't do it to save time and memory. All you have to do is initialize to get an isotropic tet mesh or use the solver.

Best Regards
