Hello all,

I have heard that pointwise has the capability to export to CAE the full symmetric grid from a half symmetry generated grid. Can anyone please tell how to go about it?

If this is not possible, when I use the mirror command, the original domain gets deleted. How to avoid this problem?

Correct, you can mirror on export. From the CAE menu you'll need to specify the mirror plane. Next, ensure that no boundary conditions have been applied to the symmetry domain.

Hello

I am unable see any sort of mirror plane option in CAE menu tree. I am using Pointwise V17.0R2. Is this version compatible?

This is a new feature and can be found in V17.2R2.
