what is the Relation between T-Rex BC and the general BC

Hi guys, couldn't find any threads related to this problem hence creating a new thread.

Well, I have a doubt that,:- is there any relation between the BCs that we give while initializing the Block and that with the BCs which are given at the end of the problem (used in the solver).

My Case:
I have a created a block for Wing-Pylon-Store model, since i've to initialize the Block, I'm giving certain BCs that decides the growth of the Anisotropic Triangles off edges of certain domains. Once i'm done with the block initialization, i'm gonna have to set certain BCs in order to solve this mesh model in the solver(Ansys Fluent).
Now I'm not sure that these boundary conditions should remain same or there is no relation between these different BCs(BCs created while initializing the Block and the End BCs), so that i can go ahead and give different BCs in both the stages.

Somebody help!

Thanks in advance.

Hello Bharatesh:

They are not related at all. T-Rex BCs are applied to the mesh generation algorithm when it's being generated. CAE BCs are for the flow solver (for example wall, symmetry, inflow, outflow).

Hope this clarifies things.

Thanks John, for the clarification.
There is one more thing:
- I have a wing-pylon-store model, after meshing exported the .cas file from the pointwise (with maximum included angle <175, and with good quality mesh)
- Imported in Ansys Fluent 14, reordered the domain and got the 'Bandwidth reduction=1, min. orthogonal quality=0.119
- Entered all the necessary conditions such as Monitors, Wing Length&Area, with Sea level conditions etc.
-When i clicked on Calculate button:- during the calculation, the Text message "cx-xy- plot data: Unequal Length argument Lists" was displayed thrice before each iteration in the console.
-Is this a problem? If so, could you please help me resolve the issue.

Thanks in advance!

I am not familiar enough with Fluent to explain those messages. You may want to email our tech support engineers at support@pointwise.com to see what advice they can offer.
