Hi,
I'm looking to refine my mesh in a manner similar to this image.
Notice how each area of successive refinement has 1/2 the width and 1/2 the length of the coarser mesh which comes before it.
Is pointwise capable of this?
I was under the impression that for structured meshes, opposite sides must have the same number of points, but it doesn't look this way in this image.

What would be the best way of going about this for a structured mesh.
Thank you

Hello Jenna,

Pointwise is not able to create a hex grid with hanging nodes like the one you've shown in the image. Structured grids in Pointwise have an I,J,K direction and dimension meaning that a domain in 2D will consist of four edges where opposing edges must have the same number of points.
