Gridgen :Incline a domain
How can one incline a domain (by 45 degrees say w.r.t. x axis)
Thanks |
Re: Gridgen :Incline a domain
- Connector -> Modify -> Translate - Select a connector on the domain you want to incline - Pick a point on the connector as a reference point to move; in your case, it would be easiest to pick the end-point of the connector - Translate this point such the line connecting its new location and the point below are inclined to the x-axis by 45 deg. - Done - Done Replace - Maintain Linkages
The last option is important as it will maintain the connectivity to other connectors and automatically recompute the domain. Does this help? Or are you simply trying to rotate the domain about the x-axis, while keeping the shape of the domain fixed? |
Re: Gridgen :Incline a domain
Hi Chris I tried what you said, but translating the connector moves it parallely, it didn't rotate it. And how can say it's 45 degrees just by looking at it? I am still confused. I tried the rotate command but didn't work.
Any suggestions Thanks alot |

Again, I am a little confused as to what you're trying to do. Maybe sketch up a diagram of what you're trying to do and email it to me and I'll post back.
