I currently have a 2-D mesh with 10 different domains on Gridgen. I need to merge these for use in an external processor. Can anyone tell me how to do this so that I can keep the distribution of the grid points the same. Thanks!

Hello Nicole.

I'm going to assume that when you wrote "merge" you mean "join".

The simplest way to do this is to use the ASW (analysis software) menu to specify that you're making a 2D grid. Since you didn't specify a particular flow solver in your post, you can use the 2D generic solver.

Next, create a 2D block from your domains. Basically, you'll create a block with a single face.

Once the block has been created, use the I/O menu to export the block to whatever grid format you need.

You didn't mention whether your grid was structured or unstructured. This procedure works for either, but there are some minor changes depending on formats, etc.
