I am trying to create a structured mesh for a wing which has a zero chord wingtip and I am struggling to get an adequate quality.

The problem is that at the wing tip, the structured solver (in gridgen) can not set the correct angles (orthogonal) for the mesh going away from the wing as obviously there is no data about aerofoil shape here. Using un smoothed mesh results in very poor orthoganility.

I think I somehow need to copy the mesh points distribution from another section of the wing to the tip but scaled to have zero chord. Similar to the feature for lines - copy scaled distance.

I cannot find any feature to do this.

Hopefully someone can think of some ideas to solve this. Thanks in advance.
