2D meshing without a block

Hi,

I am trying to mesh the area around one airfoil using curve meshing parameters and then surface meshing, the way we used to do it in Gambit, without blocking, but I can't get a surface mesh......

ICEM CFD has a lot of options, but If you want to generate a mesh like you had in Gambit, you should try a different method.

If you go into ICEM CFD and set sizes on he geometry and then try...
