Yep I was able to find a detailed description of the GGI ( General Grid Interface) connections in the CFX documentation, Thanks for the help Glenn :)

Mesh interfaces in CFX

While attempting to use a surface as an interface in CFX is it required to have the same element size on the side1 and side2. I heard of something like a non conformal mesh interface but I’m not sure...
