I guess I was thinking of the line in the workbench readers... (not in the old geometry readers).

Here you can import a geometry and say that you want the parts and sizes to come from...

During import, you can also associate the new geometry file with the old tetin file so all the family sizes, etc. are preserved... This is an option near the top of the import DEZ.
