If you are using Gnome run go to resources...

If you are using Gnome run

go to resources tab and see how many CPUs are listed there under CPU History. thats your number for defining in decomposeParDict.

Not sure about setFields, but about...

You can easily use it in the same computer with multiple processors.
Just set decomposeParDict correctly with respect to number of processors you have and you are done.
