I just ran the XiFoam tutorial on 4 CPUs without any issue with the ignition cells; I cannot reproduce your problem. If you would like us to investigate your problem further we will need more...

I have just run several XiFoam

I have just run several XiFoam cases in serial and parallel and I do not see any problem: I get the correct number of ignition cells in serial and parallel.
