Thanks for the reply. I'm not really needing steady state for the airfoil, I can use Xfoil (via Profili), etc. for that.

I'm after the planing acceleration/speed of the WIG caused by the air...

will F3D model a WIG?

How is F3D for modeling something like a wing in ground effect (WIG).

Air blows under the wing to help provide liftoff plus there's hydrodynamic lift to get to planing speed, and then the craft...
