I don't think you need to use area () when you use the flowRateInletVelocity boundary condition as the value you specify is already the flow rate. So for this case you probably wont need the swak...

According to the http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/swak4Foam/README_2.x groovyFlowRateInletVelocity is discontinued.
As for the flow rate you can use type groovy and something like this:
