Good morning
I am having problems with changing my email connected to cfd-online. I changed the settings yesterday and this morning the daily digests (from OpenFoam) did successfully go to my new email address. Unsuccessfully, however, are the emails, which are being send for every post. These are still going to my old email address. Are there a multiple of places, where I have to change the email? Kind regards Niels |

That sounds strange. Perhaps there is some caching functionality that delays the update. I ran a few database optimizations. Are you still having this problem or is it working as it should now?

Thank you, but it did not help. It is still the same with emails to the old address as late as 7:22 this morning.
I will try to unsubscribe to all threads and then subscribe in a couple of days; see if that does anything. Kind regards, Niels |

Hi Pete,
Now it begins to be funny. I un-subscribed to all threads yesterday (about 24 hours ago), and this morning there were no daily digests, which fits nicely along with the fact that I do not subscribe for any of the threads. BUT! I still receive a lot of emails every time something is posted. If it helps your debugging, then I had my account from before the migration to the new platform; I believe it was in March 2009. Thanks for your help, it is most appreciated Niels |

I'm not sure if I fully understand your problem. You can review all your subscriptions here:
http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/sub...ewsubscription Are you talking about these thread subscriptions, or are you talking about the forum subscriptions? Or perhaps you are referring to the OpenFOAM mailing-lists that we are running also that sends full messages (see Modified OpenFOAM Forum Structure and New Mailing-List)? If the problem is related to the mailing-lists then you will have to change your email directly in Majordomo also, since those mailing-lists are not coupled to a forum user and do not read any email addresses from the forum software. |

Hi Pete,
Thank you, I am sorry that I had completely forgotten that this is how it works. However, trying to subscribe I get the following mail-server error: Code:

Seems like I have forgotten this also. We played with majordomo in the beginning, but then switched over to mailman. You can handle your subscription on the web directly. You can find the links here:
Mailing-list of all new posts in the OpenFOAM forums I hope this will work better. I also think that you get information about how to handle your subscriptions in the footer of these emails. Only a few people use these mailing-lists. |

Thanks a lot Pete. This worked perfectly.
It is merely me being blind, not watching the footer in the email. Have a nice weekend, Niels |
