weier is on a distinguished road
Hi,I want to simulate the pipe flow, and observe the fluctuation of velocity. Like most pipe simulations, I set the pipe diameter = 4cm, the inlet velocity = 0.133m/s, so Re = 5300, y_plus = 0.011cm, and the smallest scales of grid can be 0.055cm. I use GAMBIT, considering the compute capability, let the length of pipe to be 12.5cm. After that, I will use FLUENT LES to simulate

But can you tell me how to use GAMBIT to divide this grid? How to set the size function and boundary layer?

Because I am a new learner of CFD, the follow is my Journal File, Can you tell me whether this grid is suitable for LES? if not ,how to change. Thanks !
