We have received several complaints about the heart shaped icons that was used in the likes system as a symbol for posts that users liked. Apparently people feel embarrassed. To make everyone happy we have changed the likes icons to a thumbs-up smiley instead. Hopefully that should be less sensitive.

Ironically, it seems that the meaning of "thumbs up" isn't always a good thing in some cultures: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thumbs_...nternationally

But the new icon looks nice enough
And given the fact that "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" icons have been accessible in the "post icons" section, hopefully no one will be offended by the new icon.

Probably due to a measurement issue:

• "Like +- 10%" is feasibly numeric.
• "Love +- love/hate" is non-numeric by definition .
