HI
I used CFX software before ,and there is false time step in it, but now I use Star cmm+ so I need to find what is the alternative for false time step in star .also I will be gratefull to you if you can show me how to adjust under relaxation for mass , momentum and enthalpy. Thanks |

When you would have opened the online help and use the search functionality at least once, you would have found very quickly how to set urf. Open the solver node and click on an arbitrary solver there, and you will see the urf in the properties window. You can also see that when searching for "under-relaxation factor" in the online help in at least the first 5 hits.
Regarding the false time step, it might be worth to describe what you're trying to achieve and what the false time step should do. Different software might follow different principles, therefore it's mostly better not to blindly copy a method but try to understand what you really need in another software to achieve your goals. |
