Hi all,
I'm simulating such case: a flow is between parallel plates. A constant heat flux added on the bottom plate, while a porous media is placed above the top plate. The aim is to extract vapor generated from water (no boiling, pure evaporation) through the porous media. Does anyone know how should I select the solver for this problem? I tried multiphase segregate flow model. But it didn't work. Thank you very much! Bryan |

Can you explain more about your model selection ( which multiphase, lagrangian or eulerian?). Moreover, what was the problem that it did not work? How did you select the porous region?

Sure. I use Eulerian multiphase model. You can see the detail in the picture. The problem is after only 27 steps, the troubleshooting error happens. I tried to change initial conditions more physically reasonable. But the error still happened.
The basic geometry is shown too. Upper part is porous region and lower part is fluid region. I really appreciate if somebody can give some suggestions! |
