Hi all,
I am using trimmer to mesh a geometry shown below. The problem is near the interface, the trimmer seems over-meshed (where the red circles are). Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks! Bryan 0_Mesh Scene 1.jpg |

This is what mine looked like: I also think I messed around with the concave angle limit too. |

Check your surface mesh representation maybe?
Sometimes if the surface mesh is not good, it will affect the volume mesh.. But I encountered this kind of problem if using wrapper usually, so repair the surface mesh and then the volume mesh will become better. But your geometry looks not complicated, not sure why but you can check. |

The surface mesh is not important for the trimmer. You can even volume mesh a geometry using the trimmer without surface remeshing (as long as you're not using prism layers, otherwise you might get problems).
Your "issue" is not really an issue, it's not causing problems apart from the slightly increased cell size. It's just an issue of "what do I judge to be a perfect mesh". You might fiddle with some mesh settings, but most likely you will not get around this without affecting other regions in your mesh. To be honest: I think it's not worth to spend time with this "issue".
