Hello,

I have the following problem:
I have a set of 4 curves that are closed, if connected. I want to extrude these curves thus generate an enclosed volume.

This works fine if I import one closed curve (namely the four already connected curves), and have star ccm+ interpolate a closed curve. The problem is then that the extruded curve generates only one boundary. But I want to be able to see all 4 boundaries on the extruded body.

If I import the 4 curves separately I can't extrude them as a solid but only as surfaces. Then I have the problem that I can't convert the surfaces to a solid (also when I add planes for the lid and bottom).

So is there a possibility to tell star ccm+ that my four imported curves are closed before extruding them?
Or is there a smart way to define a volume by its surrounding surfaces?

Thanks for the help

Fixed it!

I include my 4 curves as splines separately. They are all in the same plane (XY) but nevertheless I create a new XY plane sketch and now I can project all 4 curves on my defined plane sketch. That can then be extruded as a solid and I can assign different names to the 4 bounding surfaces defined by my 4 curves.
done.

Thanks for your help
