I am simulating particle behaviour in a room in the steady state case by Lagrangian multiphse. How to know that the solution of the lagrangain is converged?

One way coupling or two way coupling?
In case of one way coupling: Just get a converged velocity field without Lagrangian and solve Lagrangian at the end for some steps.
In case of two way coupling: Try to monitor some solution data until it doesn't change anymore and residuals are leveled out.

What to do if some of the parcels in the domain reach the maximum sub steps? I increased the max number of sub steps to 2,000,000. But still is not enough and 2 of 20 parcels reach the maximum sub steps.
