I'm trying to run a simulation involving a pump that looks like this:
There is a velocity inlet and pressure outlet, the problem I get is that when I run the simulation I get that overflow error (floating point exception). In the scalar scene of velocity I could see the values were extremely large. I suspect it's because of the tight clearance between the teeth of the gears and the pump housing? Is there some way to handle this in STAR? Here is the sim file: http://www.sendspace.com/file/gkz82y |
