How to obtain a FREE educational software STAR-CCM+‏‏

Dear all,

I am a Spanish student. I’m so interested in learning CFD based in STAR-CCM+. I have information that for educational case STAR-CCM+ is free. Please, can you help me and show me how to obtain a free license of STAR-CCM+.

Thanks a lot

I don't think you can get a free license.
You can ask them directly to get a trial license though.

Contact either the Global Academic Program Coordinator or local Academic coordinator in your region and explain to them your situation. They do issue student licenses. I don't want to give out names but those are their position titles (these are both CD-Adapco position titles, not the Academic coordinator of your department).

Kalin,

Well as already told by Lucky Tran, you can either Global Academic Program Coordinator or local Academic coordinator, in my case later is responsible. So it would be better to ask your Professor from Department of Fluid Dynamics. They might have the educational licenses.
