hallo does anyone know how to set a new field function to compare 2 scalar data of temperature of a plan section by using interpolatetables?

i just want to do the mesh independence. i have two mesh variant and export one scalar table that represent temperature of a plan section from one variant. and then import to the other using tools-tables. after that by field function i set a new one with the befehl interpolatepositiontable(scalar). finally id like to compare the new scalar and the scalar function in the 2nd mesh variant of the same plansection in 1st mesh variant. do i need a new field function in that the two scalar function of temperature substract each other so that i can clearly see that the difference(%) of temperature between two mesh variant. there are realy litte information in user Guider. i just look for help. thks

Both works, you can do it in one field function or in a separate one. I recommend to do the subtract in a separate field function.

Reference it by something like
$Temperature-$InterpolatedTemperature
depending on the name of your position interpolated temperature field function.
