Part injector - Number of injection Points

Hi,
Im trying to calculate the air residency times of particles inputed into a room. Im using the lagrangian model and am using part injectors as my injector type. My inlets are set as the part fo the injectors. At the moment the injector is inputing 2100 particles into the room and its taking way too long to converge the results. I am wondering what setting do i have to change or reduce in order to reduce the number of injection points? Or does the surface area of my inlets affect this? I want to calculate the air residency times for maybe 100-200 particles.
Thanks in advance

Hi,

you can use:

1.) Point inclusion probability less then 1.0 (less value -> less particles)
2.) Presentation grid as part injector region (10x20 points for 200 particles)

Petr
