Roughness Height

Hi,
I would like analyze the pressure drop in a circular pipe. Here I known wall roughness height. How could i setup the prism layer thickness to capture the roughness effect i.e the first prism layer near to the wall should be higher than roughness height or Lower than roughness height.Adv thanx

Do you have any experimental result to prove your CFD? if Yes then try first with a prism layer, small enough to solve the viscous boundary layer. Otherwise you need to refine the mesh. I suggest you once without prism layer as well. Since, the prism layer is not an essential mesher.
