Total Number of Cells

Hello,

Is there any way to count total number of cells in a simulation - I have several regions.

The 'Mesh Diagnostics' give the numbers for each region separately and not all at once.

Thanks

Edit: original message below in italics, I was wrong! Corrected edit in bold

In the overall simulation tree, go to Representations->Volume Mesh. Clicking on the volume mesh parent node will give you an overall sum for all regions.
Expand the volume mesh node to see a per region total too (easier than diagnostics)

Original message (with incorrect information!):
No, there isn't a way to get the total cell count afaik.

There is an easier way to get it for each region though (Mesh diagnostics outputs a lot more than just that obviously). Go to Representations near the bottom and expand it.... each region will have an entity under Volume Mesh, click those and you get a cell count.

You could make a script to do it fairly easily. Youll need to use "FvRepresentation" and related objects.
