NetBeans configuration for star ccm+

Hello, I have Star CCM 8.04 and Netbeans 7.3.1 running on ubuntu, and I want to create a simple macro in java and launch it in netbeans, I think that this is possible importing the StarCCM libraries, but I can not do it.

Any body could help me with this?

Thank you.

Do you have trouble importing the libraries from StarCCM installation directory? Did you check file permissions on the library folders?

Yes, I have permission for my user, I have imported the Jar files from the folder ../star/lib/platform/modules/ in this folder I have the Jar file star-coremodule, I think that is the correct folder, isnt it? but Netbeans cant find the libraries.

Any suggestion?

Thank you.

This is strange, what is the exact error message that you get?

The way I usually go about this is:

In the Projects window right-click on the name of the project that lacks library -> Properties -> The Project Properties window opens. In Categories tree select "Libraries" node -> On the right side of the Project Properties window press button "Add JAR/Folder" -> Select jars you need.

Your folder looks correct, I see that my libraries are imported from ../star/lib/platform/modules/ext

That was the problem, the star libraries are in the folder ../star/lib/platform/modules/ext so inserting that Jar file is all okey.

Thank you very much.

Thanks Roman! Using the libraries in the directory you listed fixed my setup for using NetBeans with STAR-CCM+.
