Hi All,

Is it possible to assign a constant temperature condition to a region.
Not for the boundary but for a region itself.
Region should be maintained at a specified temperature always.

Initializing the region would not keep it constantly at a value.
For using energy source option, I dont know the volumetric heat generation rate.

I heard it is possible in Fluent and it should be possible in Star-CCM+.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Mahesh

Yes, it is possible. It is documented in the UserGuide of CCM+. Look for "prescribing constant temperatures in fluid cells" starting from version 5.04.
In the example they use a cell set. This is not necessary if you want the fixed temperature for a complete region.
