Hello everybody,

my current problem is quite challenging since days. I am using an optimizer which imports a CAD file. After setup the inlet and outlet, it generates an optimized shape by avoiding deadzones in the velocity field. That means, it cuts off areas in my geometry, which are below a specific velocity. I tried to change the Mesh-Properties, which original contained a TRIMMER, to a POLYHEDRAL MESHER. After that, the error notice said that CAD projection mode has to be enabled. So I enabled the CAD projection mode. Since that, the optimizer doesn't work properly anymore.
Does anyone has an idea?
Thanks!

Which optimizer are you talking about? ToscaFluid?

Did you ask their support or is it a hand written opimizer?
