Solar radiation blocked by symmetry and periodic interfaces

I have been testing the solar loads model and am finding that for walls of my region where solar radiation must pass through, transmissivity must be adjusted to a nonzero number. But it seems that for BCs of symmetry and periodic interfaces, there seems to be no way to set the transmissivity. This means that these areas are treated as non-transmissive barriers with respect to solar radiation.
How do I allow solar radiation to pass through these types of BCs? Thanks! |

Hi
CCM+ will automatically adjust transmissivity based on emissivity and reflectivity. Hope this answers your questions |
